The Serra dos Candeeiros Natural Park is marked by several rock formations and limestone caves, which occupy part of the districts of Leiria and Santarém. It is one of the elevations that are close to the coast in Portugal, offering a magnificent landscape where the sea and the mountain intertwine.

The Mysterious Side of Serra de Aire is the largest natural habitat of hundreds of species: big-eared woolly bat, dozens of birds, the red-billed crane, royal owl, sparrowhawk, and several avian species, as well as reptiles and amphibians.

Serra de Aire e Candeeiros allow you to discover nature, very close to Fatima.

There are several caves near the city of Fátima that you simply cannot miss. These include the caves of Moeda, the caves of Mira de Aire and the caves of Santo António and Alvados.

There, you will discover spectacular spaces full of stalactites and stalagmites that turn the caves into beautiful art galleries.

Also known as the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, it is easily accessible, located 15 km from the town of Batalha.

This monastery is part of the 7 wonders of Portugal due to its historical importance and its architectural beauty. This Gothic and Manueline building is considered a masterpiece.

Located very close to the Sanctuary, here, you will discover the history of the children of Fátima and the most important historical events that took place in the city. It is one of the first wax museums in Portugal.
